Have an black HJC CL-12 helmet with electric shield. It's a top of the line model with the breath deflector. It’s 3 seasons old and in great shape. Also have the cord and plug in for machine.
What’s this worth? I would like an MX style helmet with double lens goggles, so if I can sell this for enough to buy a MX style helmet, I would.
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
-Jon

just keep it...
i have an hjc closed faced, love it, but bought a hjc open faced as well... love that too, but on those sub zero days, the closed face is a warm option... as well as when you have that wet snow/rainy conditions, alot easier to wipe a sheild than goggles..

Yea for what you can get for the old helmet, you would be much better off keeping it when you get the MX helmet. I know i have both, and wear the MX helmet 90% of the time, but i wore it on a -20F day last year and had some pretty nasty frostbite on my face just below my eyes on both sides because there were tiny airleaks under the goggles. Definately wore the nice warm closed face the rest of the week

Ya, I'm getting the impression that I should just keep it. Plus, we have a lot of -20 Celcius days. I love my electric sheild, because it doesn't fog at all, but the cord is always in the way.
I don't care what anyone says, goggles will fog. Guys up here have every type of goggle of every $ range and they all fog. People are saying though that the best goggle to get is the double lens for people with glasses. This way, the goggle is farthest away from your face, more air space, less fogging.
