EGT gauges

I am thinking about picking up a set of egt's for my sled. It has stock pipes but wouldnt mind keeping an eye on whats going on. I dont need all the fancy stuff, just gauges. Any suggestions on an affordable setup, analoge vs digital? Anyone have a used set they want to sell? All suggestions welcome.

Had an analog on my first Indy and it was pretty useless. At speed it was unreadable. A needles with of temp meant the difference between being okay and Mr. Squeeky showing up.

Go with the digital.
 
why, i used to run EGT's in the past, had more burn downs than I can count. Keep the engine and jetting stock, use Turks clutching recommendations and you will not have any problems. If you were racing drags it would be a different story, but even then you do not have enough time to shut down if a problem develops. Al
