Putting new carbides on my '82 Excel III

I recently bought a cheap pair of carbides for my '82 Excel III. I can get to 2 of the three bolts on the existing carbide, but the 3rd is located under the leaf spring and I am having a very difficult time getting to it. I consider myself to be fairly good at getting things apart, but not always so good at getting them back together. If anyone could give me suggestions on how I can get to this third nut, it would be greatly appreciated.

Pull the pin on the front of the ski where the leaf spring contacts the ski, life the sled up and the ski will only be attach at the back and should provide plenty of room to access the back bolt. I can't understand why you would have such a time accessing this bolt in the first place!? I find that odd. G.
