I'm putting a 49/43 helix on my 96 800 v4. I have never done this. I'm thinking you putthe spring in the 1 hole onthe sheave and the 6 hole on the helix and turn it clockwise 70 degrees and it should line up with the studs. Thi sound right? I'm settin the clutch up per yammiedgods reccomendations. Thanks for any help
Yes, 6 & 1 will give you 70 degrees. Just be sure you twist it the right way, people have gone the wrong way and could't figure out what happened.
