difference between 8bv50 and 8bv51 helix

same helix...different part #. The 1st number after the v is the helix angle. unless it,s been recut or it,s an apex/rx-1 helix.

both are straight 45 deg. that last digit is just the casting/manufacturing #. the ones w/0 are older and the ones w/1 are newer. no difference in deg angle or how the part bolts up and functions. probably just a # to let yamaha know which ones have the newer aluminum cast material formula or something like that.
