1982 srx 500 MOD almost done.

Hey guys, my 82 SRX 500 Mod Stocker is almost done. When the engine is back in the sled, with some help from Dynofun we will post pictures.
It has been a great project, with alot of help from Jon Berllineto., Don Pizor., Rick Duhn., and Gunnar Dervola. It will be drag raced it this season, at Minot ND, Waconia MN, Okoboji IA, and Waseca MN,
I have piston rings for the 500, if anyone needs some.

Full mod motor with huge carbs and new mod pipes. Lightened chassis, drag skis, track and suspension.

What class would I run with just porting, after market pipes (w/ can no stingers) and high RPM CDI?

Same class. You cant do much before you are required to run Mod
Stock but once in you can do alot.

The classes the SRX 500 will run in are 500 modstock and basicly the only rules for that class is not more than 40 thou. overbore, and numbers must match chassis (engine that came in the chassis) 500 Ifs/clone class and posssibly 500 open mod if it runs well.
