I have been tossing around the idea of adding an LED taillight to my SRX and am looking for ideas on complete assemblies that I could bolt on and wire up.I have an LED bulb now to work with the stock lens but it still isn't very bright and I've also tried a brighter filament style bulb which is brighter but also drains way too much wattage from the mag.Does anyone have any ideas of what I could use for an assembly to take the place of the stock one?
I've seen some guys put variations of the 'light bars' on.

I used a 30 light (or so) led on my sx. Bright enough for the people behind me. Found it on ebay a few years ago.
i am waiting for mine to show up, a 5" led light bar, through western power sports. in the mean time, i removed the stock tailight assembly, took some .100 aluminum, patterned the stock tailight on it and made a flat block off plate for the seat. painted it, bolted it on with some allen heads and used the stock flatwashers and nuts inside the storage compartment. looks kind of cool already. when my led gets here, it will mount to my tunnel rack, or my newly constructed block off plate. i was fortunate to have some extra parts laying around and had an adapter plug that matched so i havent sacrificed anything stock. now if i can just get my brakelight switch to work.

Ive got the van amburg, four bar led tail light on my sx vmax with a boss seat. three wires pretty easy to install.
What did you have to do to the seat to make the tail light fit?amatosrx said:
there is also a guy here in ontarip that makes a complete bolt-on led assembly. lost his name but a couple of the ceramic coaters in southern ontario know him as well.
