Anyone with an M-10 Airwave

I just installed the Airwave diamond in my viper. I'm trying to figure out how you adjust the FRA. I've seen instructions that state it's similar to adjusting the track, but all I have are the blocks that clamp to the rail, there's no adjuster screw or anything. I bought the skid brand new. Without the adjust screw or bolt, how do you adjust it? Did TeamFast forget to install them on my skid?

Any thoughts?
Thanks

You adjust air pressure for the correct sag so the fra is not needed.I helped a guy set one up and we started with about 4" of sag and adjusted from there.Make sure you make small air pressure adjustments when you want to fine tune, sometimes as little as a 2psi change.Alot of times even going 5 psi at once is too much for fine tuning.I think you'll like that skidframe, I have a standard m-10 which is nice, but that brings a whole new level of compliance to that geometry.

Maybe I have my terminoligy wrong then. I don't have the manual in front of me, so I can't tell you exactly what it's called. Take a look at this picture: http://www.teamfast.com/images/airwave.png
There is the rear air shock, & then next to it, a "shock" that is mounted to the rails. Where it mounts to the rails is adjustable, there is a slot.

So I guess my question is, do I need to play with this adjustment, or leave it as is. If I'm supposed to leave it as is, then I screwed up because I already loosened it & got it out of whack. Now I need to figure out how to get it back to the way it was, as it's not easy to move.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reponses. I'll contact TeamFast & find out exactly where it's supposed to be set.

Does anyone know the purpose of that extra shock? The M10's don't have them.

Zom - I just bought an airwave also but I haven't had the time to install it yet. I can take some up close pics of that mechanism if it would help seeing as mine is still stock.

I just talked with TeamFast & they set me straight. The extra shock acts more like a spring to control the airshock, according to Fast.

I just need to loosen up the dogbone up front & in the back where it connects to the rails, & then tighten everything down.

Viper03, thanks for the offer of pics, but I should be all set now. Thanks.

yup got one on mine . i have the switch where i can adjust it on the fly . trail gets bad ? buzzz more air .......... seee ya . i had to take off the works front shocks as they could not match the rear . i found a set of ohlins with comp.and rebound settings . now that's a complete set up . you will be suppressed how the front is the limiting factor now

I'm pretty happy with the ohlinso n the front of my viper - been struggling with the rear. I bought your ohlins from you 3 or so years ago .... you like the airwave that much?
