Bulkhead Damage?

I have a 1995 Vmax 600 and I am worried I may have some cracking in my tunnel or bulkhead. Tonight I installed my new riser block and I got on to see how it felt and when I leaned to the sides I could see the machine twist, I know some twist is normal but what has me worried is the drive shaft was twisting with the tunnel, but the motor was not. Lets say the difference was about 2 inches of lateral movement vs 1/2 inch of lateral movement on the engine side of things. Is this normal or should I do a tear down to inspect this thing? I am just getting it ready for paint and new decals this week. Was going to start sealing it tomorrow.

tear down and inspect would be the way to go. i don't think there should be that much twist. it sounds like a weld seperated or something.
