i just installed the handle bar off an 07 apex with the pre formed hooks on the ends onto my 02 viper. problem is that the throttle block for the viper does not slide onto the new bar due to the built in 45's on the ends. i am making a new throttle block at the moment and my question is how do i bypass the kill switch. there is a small contact switch in the housing that i am assuming has to do with the TORS system. just need to know for sure and how i could get around that as i would like to put a separate switch on from say a YZ dirtbike and them i am going to install a tether switch.

I did the same thing last year putting on apex bars. I put the throttle block in boiling water and then worked it on the bars. Took a few tries but got it on
WHy don't you leave the kill switch there and put the tether inline with the kill switch?
