Hey all, I picked up a used studded track, 121x15x.75, for really cheap. It is a bombardier track but figured if it didn't fit I could sell it for more than I bought it for. Do you guys know if it will fit a 2000 SXR or how I am able to tell besides just comparing it to my old track? Thanks!

I agree on the 1 inch idea. It is truly amazing the difference from the 3/4" to the 1 inch. The track does all the work unless you are in ice. Studs are great but I'd go with a taller track over a studded 3/4" any day.

As far as throwing a different manufacturers track under it. As long as the length/width/gauge are the same it is not something to worry about. I've got an Arctic Cat "quiet" track under mine.

I have 5 sleds I rode each one with the stock track. I also rode with a stock track with studs and a 1.25 with no studs.

With that said if you want the best of both worlds get a 1.00 with studs. If you want no studs then go with a 1.25

Hope this helps... ;)!

I second JK. 1" with studs, 1.250" without. If you stud, and you should, a 1" track is the best IMHO.

Sounds good guys. I think I'll hold off for now and put a taller lug track on there. Thanks for the help.

what kind of riding do you do? trails or back trails. if you do alot of regular trails that track would be fine. if you do a mix of both 1.25 track would be your best bet but if you do alot of off-trail and back trail riding like i do go with a 1.5 inch track omg talk about traction my sled hooks in the deep snow.

I do mostly trail riding but like to go have some fun in the deeper stuff too. When you measure a track for lug length do you go from the back of the track or from the front side at the bottom of the lug?
