seen it done on several sleds on her was wondering what floats to use if the ride is worth the hassle? any details on installation and on where to go would be great thanks.

not sure but i think the height is the same as vipers or alot of other long travel sleds. same mounts i think also. any yamaha shop could probably give you the details on length. havn't used a set myself but everyone else i know that has had them love them. Good luck.
I have a pair of fox podium shocks that I am going to put on my Viper.
They look similar to these, but don't have the correct mount for on the bulkhead.

I did find a place that sells the KYB replacement ends and am going to try and get a pair with the hopes that the thread pitch/ diameter is the same between the KYB and Fox shocks...

Definately hands down 1000 percent worth it.....but then anything beats the stock shocks! They will definately raise the front so if your not going to change the rear skid you will have to put a drop kit on to compinsate the higher front end. Mine are off of a Polaris Predator 4 wheeler. Got them from sleeezebay for around $300
ok... im actually putting a 07 iqr skid in which may raise the back some... and what needs to be done to fab up a mount for the shocks will there be a loss in speed or handling from the front end being lifted?
???? anyone know what needs to be fabed up ?

the new air shocks that FAST is selling would be better then the FOX floats. of course they don't have a clevis end like the stock shocks.
