my 2000 srx has handwarmers that will cook your hands , turned down all the way . is the hand warmer regulator shot . need to fix , melts my gloves , cant stand to ride it warmers are so hot ,heard that this is common problem somebody must make a part to remedy this problem
I believe that the rheostat is shot if they go full hot when turned down.
now they dont work at all . still the rheostat?

probably, could have shorted then burned out & now no power going through. Remove bar pad & check for power on the yell/red stripe wire. the test light should get dim/bright wiith the reostat. Check for continuity through grips, I think about 3 ohms is right.
