Going to be ordering some parts tonight. Did some research and this is what i have come up with (trying to stay low$) sled is 99srx 700 transfer rods and 144 1.075 macks outerband is picked. Rider me is 220lbs 30% trail 70%lake runs. staying with the 8dn-10 4.5gr both holes y-w-y red secondary 47deg helix 70deg of wrap. Not sure if this will be what i need and would like to here more from you guys there was not alot of 99srx's in the tuneing pages in tech section. Any input would be of a help to me.

Your not gonna have enuff mass in the primary weights. It,s gonna overrev if the rest of the sled is mechanically healthy.

Well if I understand correctly I think Turk means your gonna need a steeper helix to keep those rpm in the right range! Maybe if you change your primary to a 8dn -20 loaded up to keep your rpm around 8600 range correct me if I am wrong on this turk I am just applying what I think I understood!

Do you all think that i should ditch the 8dn10's and go down a different road? Please help me Turk lol. What would you run. Looking somewhat stock is important to me. Thanks.

Done deal sir thanks. Even if i dont use on this set up they will be great to have again thanks.

On a good running srx it will be pretty much impossible to get enough wait in the 10's to keep it from over revving. 20's with 4.5's will be pretty close for low level running. We used the 10's with 4.5's at 10,000'. Worked great in that application.

i don't see the need for 70 deg wrap, especially if 70% lake running, or even @ all. that will take away some top end #'s vs the 60 deg wrap.

i personally would run a different weight.....8BU-00, 8BU-10, 89A10, 8DN-20, heavy hitters, etc.

going to go with the weights that staggs65 was kind enough to hook me up with.
That changes everything though.. What to run for weights?? 4.5 both holes? and the helix and spring on the secondary? and put the white white white primary spring? If i can just get in the ballpark right off the bat i would be a happy camper. Dont mind tweaking later. Never had a SRX before. I used to race one of my buddys srx's against my old APEX and it was never an easy win. If i was sleeping on the line it took a while to catch him.
