Hey all, its Whitetail season in Northern MN, as wells as other parts in the country, So, Who got what?
I got a 8 pt'er about 2 hrs ago, heard it grunting and chasing 2 fawns and a doe, and all of a sudden he was mine....

flopped a six point with the bow last night.
I got a pretty big doe with my ford explorer..........I didnt even know I was deer hunting.........

Having a pretty good hunting season this year. I got a spike elk during archery season this year, love having elk meat in the freezer. I enjoy venison too, but that's my weakness, always try to hold out for a good buck during whitetail season.
I got this a couple of weeks ago, shot it with the 25/06.

Got a great Doe in the kitchen making a Sunday chicken dinner as we speak. Very tasty (so is her chicken) with a very nice rack. A mounting is also going to be done. 
.
Gave up my Bucks for this year for a chance to bag this 4X4 (4 in, 4 out) monster that scores 880cc and about 180hp in the "Soon to be a Rocket" book.
I will be hunting Do-Pol-Cat's with this weapon out on the river once the season starts.

Nice one, I haven't deer hunted in a while now, nobody in our house but me likes the taste. But I used to hunt with my Dad by Ely. I miss it and I usually end up spending a weekend with the guys, not sure if I'll have the time to do it this year.

i saw a nice doe tonight, she was on posted land about 60yards across our line, gonna try and get her tommorow before she gets to the posted land...
