don.'t know how long they will work for,but they are a tough plastic and springy. They are off the pick- up off a combine.Found 10 of them when we were cleaning out my mom's machine shed prior to her selling the farm.I can take them and bend them right back and there is force there.Very flexible also and durable as I can remember when I used to help my father combining the crops.Should keep a good steady spray against the track.I also have snow deflectors mounted in the center edge of both ski's that Simmon's Ski's
sold as an option when I bought the ski's.I modified them also buy strengthing
them with thicker material top and side and a little lower to cut ice to.They spray great themselves.
This combo may do the trick.I'll keep ya's informed how the tine's work once we get some snow..if it ever show`s up.

hey blue remove all those scratch thing u will gain 10 mph hahahahah

Good idea!!!!!! Just don't try to go backwards though --- they look like they'd break. Do you have a drive off trailer or tilt trailer where you pull sled backwards to remove from trailer??

Mike

yeah I could see the trailer thing be a problem.I was thinking to only put 1 bolt thru so that I could rotate the thing forward in such a case.Hey..they didn't cost me anything so I will try them.Actually they are very strong being an agricultural product.I bent them right back as far as the flat of the ski, there is a lot of resistance there. If anything, the tip may wear quickly.I am looking to find something metal that I can crimp onto the tips.
