Yep, you are right, they are Hauck's, very loud.

thanks triple x, almost too loud for trail riding. outside of the sound, would it benefit me to go back to stock exhaust?

From what everyone says, YES, they do lose power over stock.
yes them are robbing horsepower from you ...to ride in indiana you can get away with them ....

sounds like the only reason the previous owner had them is for the sound then...

I had these on my srx for a few yrs and loved them.
Yes I might have lost a couple miles/hr on top, but regular riding, they sound great.
If you live in a place that allows you to ride with the stingers, try em, you will like em.
You can always throw on your stock can when you want to drag anyone.
Just my 2 cents.
