Needs honest opinions quick, 07 Phazer FX

Hey guys my girlfriend is looking for a sled and i found a 07 Fx that looks like it would be a good sled for her, it has the ytr shocks, 2700 miles, good condition, reverse, all updates have been done (Fan, Billiet Link). Will this sled be reliable a hold up well, does it ride good? Is this a good beginner sled? Honest opinions please, thanks guys. I know this is in the wrong place but i need opinions fast, and have to wait to be accepted on TY4 Stroke forums. Any info is great.

True, but it needs to be reliable, and would prefer a 4 stroke.
 
Should be reliable,, may want to see how it handles, there are many different things you can do to make it a user friendly machine.. With different skis and playing with the suspension to suit your needs.....

Thanks for the reply, so overall a good sled? can't really do any sort of riding with it unless i buy it, guy lives in the middle of town with no yard what so ever, sled started right up and idled good, sounds pretty sweet too.
 
Is she used to riding dirt bikes or 4-wheelers? If so then she should feel comfortable riding a Phazer more than most other sleds. Now if she is used to riding a harley, then she may find it uncomfortable at first. It is an excellent sled for a light weight rider.

Thanks, she's not used to riding anything to be honest, she has rode my sled once for less then a mile. I'm going to be teaching her how to ride and i think this sled will do just fine for her, and yes she is light....if she's not a fan of the phazer she can just ride my sled and i'll ride the phazer.
 
There were some 'issues' with reverse engagement and the starter bolts on some sleds along with one of the arms in the rear suspension (you find all this info on the other side). Mostly little quirky stuff. I also found that the demos we rode had a little more vibration in the bars than i liked. Great tight trail/ditch banger though. Not so leggy on high speed/lake trails, no different than any other 500 class sled.

According to the seller the fan was installed, which it was, he showed me, and then something in the rear suspension he said was changed under warrenty, he did tell me about the reverse which you sometimes have to shake the sled a little to get it to engage, but it still works, other then that it look like a good sled.
 
How much$$$ , if you dont mind me asking. It's probably a good thing she doesnt have much seat time on a traditional position sled, she'll get used to the Phazer position easier.
As far as the Ski's, everyone complains about Yami skis, I dont think they are nearly as bad as people make them out to be.(let them come follow me through the trails oneday) They are a good all around ski. JMO

Dont mind you asking, he wants 4400, but i said it's deff not worth that much, i said offer him 4k at the most if you really want it, if not i know we can find another one with similar or maybe even less miles for the same price....also this sled does not have the i believe its 4 year extended warranty with it, if wanted, could i buy the extended warranty from a yami deal. I believe its like 500 bucks but i could be wrong.

If she's not used to bikes or quads, it'll spend lots of time on it's side. If it ends up on the right side you'll have oil running out the vent tubes and possibly hydraulic-lock the engine..........

Hope she likes the rush of cold air also. They offer very little protection.

Been there with a GT and the wife hated it. I hated digging it out, tipping it back upright, cleaning up the oil mess, clearing out the radiator, knocking the ice off the running boards, un-jamming the ice block from the stearing,,,,,, :o| :o| :o|

She rides a Vector Mtn now and loves it! ;)!
