If I was closer, I'd be tempted to buy that right out from under you. To me thats a good deal.

Not really. Chances are the 2 running ones are somewhat beat and the parts sled is thinned out. I paid $1500 for a decent clean 800 2 years ago. A friend paid $1500 for a very clean 750. If the 2 runners are real nice then yes, it's a deal, but I bet the conditions are not that nice.

As always, if it's to good to be true, it usually is. Just the fact that the guy has three is a tell tale sign that he knows what he's got and has probably priced them at what they are worth.

I just sent the guy email asking him to send me close up pictures of each sled. I'll know for sure then if it is worth the trip from NY to NH to check them out. I have a 94 Vmax4 (750) which is in showroom condition. They are awesome sleds. I am looking to add a Vmax4 800 to my collection.

It's a fair price. Figure a grand a piece for the two that run and $500 for the parts sled. Yes, if he has three odds are he knows what they are worth. The 800 in the picture looks like it's missing the windshield and the shroud around the gauges and head light. Add says and more. Find out what the guy has for extra parts also. Looks like a 92, 94, and 95.

So far, no reply. I'll send him another message. I also found someone local selling a 92 Vmax-4 which is missing the cylinders for $300. The whole sled is there except for the cylinders (so the owner says). I amgoing to look at it in Sat.. The owner says it was set up for drag racing.

So many sleds, so many plans......so little time money and space to work on my toys!!!!
