Yeah, I know it's a Poo, but the kid across the street has one and is swapping cranks. He's found two offered. One has an updated bearing that requires "modifying the case" and one thats a direct repalcement.
From what he's read, the updated crank is the way to go (it's another $100.00) but he can't find what needs to be done to the case.
I haven't done any searching myself but figured it wouldn't hurt to check with the knowledge base here first.
Does anyone know what's involved with the case modification? Does it require a simple die grinder or is it more along the lines of line boring?
Any sites I could be directed to? Thanks in advance.

There Was A Snow Tech Article Here on the 700/800 twin cranks.
