humm i checked my clutch and it seems to have broken in some peices lol.. check out some pics no cracks just missing peices i dont know if it will hold up to ride ..
what you think hard to see a little but no crack just missing peices think i should change or try it out?

I think you should replace it bra,Its unbalanced now cranks are pricey.

my guess would be that when you pull it apart, you will find that there has been some major neglect as to the wear parts in there. probably a roller shot through there or the tip of you cam arm from banging against a worn roller. you would be surprised as to how many of these i have seen for lack of simple and routine maintenance. a clean clutch is a happy and productive clutch.

Yikes, thinking of that clutch spinning up to 8000rpm is making me cringe and I am a good couple hours from Ontario, lol, much less riding the sled

humm its not a clutch part that broke it like that,that im sure of but i will replace when i find a new used one somwhere on this site or ebay... cant ride yet for another month or so.. gots lots of time to change.

Looks like the clutch hit something will spinning!! Any other damage??

its your primary sheave, if you dont replace it,it will explode into 1000 pieces and cause lots of . there are pics on this sight that will make your mind up quick...

you're right it did hit somthing.. i just found out when i was doin more investigating on the subject.. when i got into my accident at the end of the season last year (snap shock in half, trail arm and evrything around there..) the force of the impact against whatever i hit (a frozen mound of sand i think..? so like a rock..) forced my side bellypan thing to push into my clutch cause ive noticed that it rubbed my side pan and made a hole in it so definitly that..
