are the shocks on a viper rebuildable??

I have a 2002 SX Viper and was wondering if the factory shocks are rebuildable? If the are how big of a job? If not wheres the best place to get new rear shocks?

i think but not sure that the regular viper shocks are rebuildable but the viper s skid shocks aren't, either find someone in your area that rebiulds em or send em to someone like pioneer, pioneer can revalve em to your weight and riding style too wich will make a great improvement over stock

I believe only the 04 viper rear shocks are not rebuildable.. they rest are. You have to have some special tools to completely rebuild a nitrogen shock. I do my own, But if you want revalving and such it is better to go with Pioneer performance or B line racing is good also.

i used pioneer for my 04 fronts , nice guys with fast turn around. i believe he said the rears were NOT rebuildable. e-mail bruce @ pioneeer , he's quick to respond.

Had Bruce at pioneer rebuild all four for my 02 Viper. They did an excellent job
