I am almost done with the 01 sxr with stock suspension . I went from 121 to a 136 and I am wondering what snowflap to use? I am looking for opinions or whats best overall?
I need to buy one either way since the old one is beat.
thanks

When in need of part numbers, I go to Port Yamaha's website and look on the parts microfiche they have linked on the home page. Has been very useful to me when searching for or comparing parts.

Are the "new ones" 12" or 16" or both?

I know, I just dont want to drop the $$$ for a new set when these are perfectly good... Ski-Doo's grey wheels dont look all that nice either...
Mine is a 16" but it drags on the snow when I am sitting on it, should have gotten the smaller one... They are the same part number for all the newer 4strokes...

I would try looking for some straight black ones...

Unless suspension drop brackets are installed, the standard length snow flap should work fine.

I used a med length blue mountain max flap on my extended Viper. I think it's around 13" or 14". Just the right length

lol... I know, I know... I hit the small ones with Fusion paint, its starting to flake off a bit now, but I found out the rear wheels are the same as the top idler from a ProAction suspension, so they are plain black... if I get around to it I will change the fronts to plain black from Parts Unlimited, money is being diverted to the wheeler now, lol...

Why not just cut it?
Or have that guy ( vendor here ) and have him make you one, I was quoted $50 plus shipping for exactly what you are wanting, as I wanted it to go out then down, not just hang there. More like a Pussy Cat style flap.
