In your opinion, what is the best way to get the fuel back into the carbs after cleaning the carbs for the season. Putting pre-mix in the cylinders a few times? Moving primary back and forth? <--- If so, how many times do you do it and do you just do like a quarter of a turn back and forth, fast or slow....?

Thanks.

Amazingly, I've never had this happen, but this year with my viper I squirted a little bit of fuel down each cylinder and it fired on the first pull and kept running. However I didn't drain the carbs this year I just used Sta-bil. I always clean the carbs before the season starts.

We've had times, more often than not, where we clean the carbs, put em on, full choke it, first pull running and keeps goin.

I just put my air nozzle in the tank with a rag around it and pressurized it a bit, but I don't think it did much as it kept leaking when I was trying to do it. It started on the 14th pull, only because there was a ton of fogging oil in it. Ran perfect and is ready to go!!!!

Usually I pull the spark plugs and pull the engine over about a dozen times or so to draw some fuel up into the lines at least then squirt some pre mix down a couple of cylinders, put the plugs back in and give er a yank.Sometimes I have to do this twice or even 2 times, pre mix down the cylinders, but it works for me.

Hmmm that reminds me it's high time I fired up the beast too.
