I bought a maximum performance 2 piece clutch tool from MIVIPER, I understand how to use the center to center tool. But would like info on how to use offset tool for 2000 SXR 700, no electric start or reverse.
thanks, Carter

if its the one i think it is, the long skinny part goes behind the primary. the thicker part is notched and goes behind the secondary. the notch is to clear the tension bolts on back of sec. hold tight to primary, check for even clearance on the secondary. should be flat contact on both surfaces. this tool is to make sure the offset is correct and the clutches in a straight plane.
