hey guys i have a 99 srx and i read in the tech pages an install for a reverse kit for my srx but where can i get a kit? ive always loved sleds with reverse but never had one... lol. i hear it would be well worth it...
You have to start with a Viper or Mountain Viper[the preferred kits because of the Hyvo gears/chains] or Venom or SXR or SX or Trailing arm Phazer,[basically any trailing arm Yamaha] Reverse kit and adapt them to your SRX. Yamaha never offered or made a kit specifically for the SRX. Be ready for some inovation + adaptation and its a bit of work, so patience will be an asset + depending on the kit you may have to get a new chain + top gear as well. Lots of people have installed these reverse kits on their SRXs so it can be done + it is great to have when its all done!
