Hi there!

I`m about to upgrade my Viper 700 Mountain and I wonder if I need to do anything with the engine before I put them on?

The sled has 5000km on the clocks now so I wonder if I should change the pistons before I pipe it?

Any opinions on this ?

I have also ordered a heelclicker kit, 50/44 helix and a green secondary spring.
Hoping to gain some power and also by changing the skis to SLP powder pros, I might be able to get a little higher up in the hills:)

Ofcourse I`m going to pull the powervalves and check them.

It would be fine prolly without doing anything, but it would'nt hurt to check it out and put fresh rings in there.Mic the pistons and if they check out I'd run them some more.I just did this work on my sx-r 700 that has close to 9000 miles and all pistons were out of spec.Your smart to be proactive on this especially with pipes and with the type of riding that you do.What kind of pipes are you going to run?
