Well my union bay 944 is on its way back from Lowell Horning. It now has a fully ported engine, cylinders and case with windowed pistons . My other mods this week are going to be stock primary with shockwave helix, 2006 polaris skid, vforce reeds, 40mm flat slide with powerjets, and a thinner base gasket for more compression around 150psi est. Now all I need is snow!

Let me know how that 06 polaris skid works out for ya.
If you are running a 159" track what length skid are you going to install?
151" with setback or 159"
Had a takeout 151 edge RMK skid sitting on the floor next to a 2000MM the other day and looks darn close to bolting the front arm into the stock yami mounting holes and the drop bracket are even close too.

I used the 159" skid, but I had to cut and inch off the tips with my 9 tooth drivers, it looked to close to the drivers for my liking. I also had to re drill some holes for the front mounting bolts. The back ones lined up with my front holes on the very bottom. This is all on my Ekholm 159" tunnel. Didn't weigh it but it deffinitely was ALOT lighter than the stock setup with the MPI transfer kit. I am going out riding tomorrow I will let you know how it feels.

Well I rode the sled today and the suspension worked flawlessly! Not only was the ride into the mountain smoother but the suspension also transferred great.I couldn't believe how much more nimble my sled felt. This mod was well worth the time.
That's great that your setup is working good. Where'd you ride at and how were the conditions?

I was riding in Elk River, there wasn't much of any snow on the way in to Elk Butte. At about 5,000 feet there was about 2 1/2 feet of powder, no base yet but enough snow for me to get a baseline test. Need about another three feet to cover the stumps then it should be good riding up there.
