Got her for $1100.00.

4500 miles.

any words or advice on these?
how are they?
i researched them and didnt find anything bad about them. its a 99 vmax 600sx triple.
does the bender pipe sound too loud or if i decide to get a pipe should i just stick with the rumble pack?

thanks,
Justin

Great deal, my buddy I ride with has the same sled. Runs great and his has nearly 6k on it.

I owed one as well. It was my first new sled. Great sled. Handles and runs well. I installed long travel shocks froma viper. Didn't handle as well afterwards, but worked much better when the trails turned rough. I left mine stock otherwise...don't like loud exhaust notes.

i have a rumble pack on my sxr 600 triple and it has a sound of its own...has a quiter idle but when your WOT it just sounds pissed off!!!

those 600-700 redheads are bulletproof!! my 700 with everything stock under the hood except a mbrp silencer once in a while got 25,000km and still running strong without touching anything. and one of my buddies with that same exact motor and got over 30,000 km cant beat em

I bought a 2000 SXR 700 this year as well, 4K miles.. went to put bender pipes in it and saw the center piston was scratched.., took it apart and found damage to the Mag (intake side) and Center (Intake/exhaust side) were damaged... And it started on one pull and idled perfect, reved up good... My advice is to give it a good lookover before the snow flies for peace of mine.. I do hear these are bullet proof though!

I will have it all back together by next thursday... and I will submit a youtube video so you can hear it with bender triple pipes. The triple pipes from bender are the same for a 600 or a 700. (I am also working on a sound diffuser for them without changing backpressure.. I'll let you know how that goes.)
