Everyone will claim that stock is the best....who knows, I have never seen a dyno sheet, so I don't know what I believe.
I have the MBRP Race Can, and absolutely love the sound, would recommend it to anyone.

i don't think there's much doubt that a piped viper makes more power than stock, srx different story, slp pipes seem to be recommended alot for viper but as a non viper owner, i have no practical experience

I am pretty sure he is talking about single pipes and cans, not triples, which obviously makes a lot more power.

Havent heard a whole lot bad about the Bender 4x4 pipe, I never really paid attention to cans (they just seem to make Yami's slow and annoying)... I like a sleeper...

I like the sound of the bender can alot, and makes alot more room. Unfortunatly the trail wardens here dont feel the same. If I was not ridding trails I would have a can forsure.

Right staggs. Triple pipes make a huge difference on Viper sleds. I've put many miles on Viper sleds -- some had triple pipes, but most did not (just stock pipes on those).
Put it this way: I'd never take my SLP's off my Mnt Viper. Never, never, never. I love the sound and the added power! I've never had a sacrifice in reliability either.

X2 what DaveM said.
From what I've read the MBRP cans usually sound good, but it usually slows you down a bit too. There seems to be a lot of used ones for sale here in Ont. anyway.

Sno-stuff's rumble pack is a good can to buy. Had one on my short tracked viper a few yrs ago and loved the way it was kinda quiet until you pinched the throttle, it sounded great. I now have a MTN Viper with speedwerx triple pipes, etc...triple pipes really wake up the vipers!
