I bought a new motor and i need to take the clutch off of the old motor and put it on the new one. i already have everything else transfurred over and this is the last thing i am just not sure on how to to get it off of install it properly
its held on by a taper, remove the large bolt in the center holding it on and use a clutch removing tool. GOOD LUCK if its never been off befor , mine was a total bear after 2500 miles. if its stuck you can do a search for the "grease trick" which is supposed to help , i personally never tried it.
you need a clutch puller! get one and put some teflon tape around the threads and fill the hole with grease...it will pop right off!!
