1.25 Ripsaw

8 tooth drivers will be needed. Another option would be the 1.25 Ice Ripper XT - lighter than a studded track, but also allows more traction.

As long and your studs don't go past the lug more than a 1/4" for total of 1.5" height I guess you could be ok, but I know that the heat exchanger protectors will hit the Ripsaw track. And as I remember the ideal amount of stud penetration is 3/8".

Jasonlmrx - I'd like to see your heat exchanger set up ...

I don't want to be always thinking about how close I am to damaging exchanger so I think I will go to 8 tooth, Have to take apart to change track anyway.

i could get some pictures if you really want its just stock il measure my studs but they dont stick out that much just to say they show over the paddle i would say 1/8th longer then the paddle its all i need around here.

Thanks Jason

Can an un-studded 1.25 rip saw be run with stock drivers on a viper?
from what i've read here about it yes, but you'll want to remove the protectors because the track will rub unless your track is super tight, then your losing power. with studs 8 tooth
