waterpump housing help!!!!

ok so running the sled today getting ready for my first trip and the previous owner hacked up the water pumphousing.... on the housing theres a brass nipple that hooks up to a hose... that was jb welded back into the waterpump housing why i dont know ????? some people do some stupid shit... so today it let go and spit coolant everywhere now i need to order some parts the housing and i dont know if it comes with that brass piece or not or what originally happened to make the original owner do what he did? cant figure out why someone would jb weld it ???

Looking at the parts micro fiche it looks like it does NOT come with the nipple. It shows both the nipple + the housing as seperate numbers.

i have to get a better look at it then how is the nipple supposed to be fastened to the housing????
why would someone jbweld it?
maybe i can fasten it the correct way... thanks

Check in the classifieds for that cover there's always guys ripping engines down for parts and surely someone will have it,plus it'll have the fitting installed.If not here then Ebay as I've seen them there before too.
