porting question

I have ported cylinders according to the race logic templates and am wondering what effect [gains or losses or engine trouble ] would gasket matching the exhaust portion of cylinder. You are actually infact enlarging the exhaust port. This is on a mm700

you will not hurt anything by gasket matching the exh port out at the manifold gasket, will take off the sharp edge and aid in flow, it will not affect the rpm of the engine power. You will only be actually enlargening the port where you ground on it at the piston side of the port, with the template from race logic, here raising and widening the port will have an effect on the the power of the engine. Go ahead and make it match up, wont do anything but good.
