You mentioned in a earlier thread you lost 5 pistons and 2 cylinders due to impropper jetting with pipes on your sxr. Which side of the jetting were you on? To lean or to rich? I ask this as you know and found out pipes can do some strange things.
its was lean and it had to do with the billet head design that I was running with the perticular pipes that caused all the problems. I Sold the head and pipes and now all is good with the pipes I an running now....

I think it was a loose Nut behind the wheel that was causing the problems ===SRXSRULE===

Tom, what did you end up running now for jetting and needles with your pipes and tempaflow?
I am thinking 145 but I havent been in it in the last 2 winters, I would have to look at it....do you need to know exact??? I can pull them to check.

145? that sounds like it would be lean. I am running 150's now per NY_sxr700, and he said they were about perfect with the tempaflown (he has the same pipes as us). It would be nice to know your exact, but you dont have to pull it all apart just for that unless you have something else to do in there as well
If you are running Simons Pipes I can give you his setup that he recommends. You also have to remember that not all sleds are the same and depending on how you load your sled with clutching can change how the pipe heats in and scavenges. So for now stick with the fatter jetting and I will post CPRs jetting spec when I get home tonight

that sounds great tom, i would appreciate that
Jeff recommends 145 jets in all three with PTO needle set at #2 and center set at #4 and mag side set at # 3, 2 turns on the fuel screws and 47.5 pilots. and thats on the sx-r and sx.
