Anyone thinking of not cleaning their carbs this year think twice. I just finnished work on my viper in aug and cleaned the carbs before putting it away for the summer. I debated on if i should clean them or not seeing they were just cleaned in aug. Well im glad i did. They looked like i never touched them. Not sure if it was the gas or what but all 3 pilot's were pluged and the little bit of gas that must have been left after cleaning looked like brown water. Not sure where the leftover gas came from, maybe vent lines? But i'm glad I cleaned again. The half hour of my time probably saved me a new engine.

Cleaning the carbs is so easy, and it gives you a piece of mind that you are getting the best performance out of your motor....

So many parts, cables, needles, floats, jets, screws, boots, clamps, gaskets and settings. It seems so overwelming. Especially with more than one carb. I can clean a simple carb like a 78 Honda Enduro bike, but sleds just seem so packed in there.
