SRX with RX1 skid, rear axle question

I'm replacing the 00 SRX skid with an 03 RX1. The srx skid has the 4th wheel on the rear axle whereas the rx1 doesn't.

I've read that the 4th wheel is better for high speed cornering, since the srx came with one should I install a 4th wheel kit on the RX1 skid?

Instead of buying the kit, can I just use the SRX axle in the RX1 skid? Will this work (it measured the same)?

Yep, you can use the SRX axle in the RX1 skid, or you could just use the middle spacers from the SRX and install them on the RX1.

What do you mean by middle spacers?

the spacers on the srx one will be shorter due to the extra wheel, they are aluminum tubes that slide over the shaft.
