Anyone know how much horse power would be gained and weight reduced from adding a set of Aaen pipes to my 78 Exciter 440??

VMAX 3, I also have a 78 Exciter I'm rebuilding to put in vintage races. do you have a comet clutch on your sled by chance? If so what is the part # on it. Thanks in advance,

Aaen pipes

MY Exciter has a stock clutch on it, but my nephew is also building an Exciter and has a Comet on his. I will check it out tomorrow if I remember.

I will try to get a couple pics too, his is in better shape than mine, and has aluminum racing skis, as well as twin carbs.

My nephew does have a comet clutch on his 79. The number 209005 is printed on the back side of the clutch. Dennis Kirk calls for a model 208301 for this model in their catalog.

Let me know if you more info.
