broke speedometer, got used one, need to know how to turn milage back to proper amoun

try a drill on the spedo cable in reverse and see if the miles come off...... I would not go to fast in rev. if it does work as you will be forcing the needle the wrong way......... I have done it in the forward direction when my speedo square drive connector has failed and I just added on the miles that compared to my friends sleds........but i used a DC motor and machined the shaft to fit the gauge pod and used a DC power supply.

or go forward all the way to roll over #'s & back up to what you need, less chance of damage.

Practice on your broken one. It can be done, I wouldn't doubt you can find examples on line. If all else fails, contact a speedo shop.

i figured it out by taking the spedo completly apart but it took 2 hours n that was on my brokin one , i dont know if i wanna try it with my new one or not ,i dont know how to take off outside glass onface of speedo without breaking it
