Does anyone have any experience putting an SC-10 skid underneath their Yamaha sled? I just recently purchase a 144 SC-10 and will put in under my Mountain Max 151. Trouble is I've never done it before and was wondering if anyone had any tips for someone is is mechanincally inclined but has not done much work on snowmobiles before. I guess I just need to know what to look for when making the new mounting points and brackets to fit the new skid to the Yammi.

I appreciate any words of wisdom you guys can supply.

Thanks!

It all boils down to mount location in respect to the drive axle, do you have the oporitunity to pull some rough measurements from a Doo? I know this doesn't answer you question but with the coupled skids of today you have to be pretty accurate. I just swapped a Warrior skid in my Viper hand had to make a cardboard template from the doner sled since the warrior skids are slightly differant.

Good Luck ;)!

S.X. thanks I'll try and track down someone with or ask the original owner if he can pull some measurements for me.

I would call Tom Hartman from Hartman Inc. ....nice guy and will probably be able to help ya ..

another thing is to cycle the rear skid from fully extended to fully bottomed out and check/feel for any binding.
