As long as the snow is somewhat set up (good base), then you should be able to go have some fun. I used to ride my 121 Exciter around all the time, hill climb and play in meadows. Just depends on the snow, if its bottom-less, than better stay on the trail. You'll get stuck more often, make sure you have a few buddies along that will help out. So many times I've rode with groups that don't watch out for each other, you wind up getting stuck and spending an hour getting out, than have to catch back up with the group, who "assumed" you went on ahead of them...
Always watch where everyone is at, stop and make sure everyone comes out of a play area and is ready to go on, and tell everyone in the group that if they lose the group, don't go looking for them. Shut the sled off and wait for them to find you. They know where they have been, they will find you. I've spent a couple hours looking for someone that lost the group, only to find out they were looking for us and we kept circling and missing each other...
Just use some common sense, you'll know if the type of snow will allow you to get around. Just don't expect to go where the 162's are going, or even the 151's. Have fun, after Mnt. riding I won't even go riding if there is only enough snow to ride the trails, it gets pretty boring.
