Viper brake rotor

Viper rotor is 0.4 pounds lighter from milling out the inner portion of the rotor...at least than older SRX rotors. I THINK the 2001-2002 SRX's have the lighter rotor and all the vipers do aswell.

Thanks guys, I bought a used rotor from an srx and are still having braking problems. The brakes on my viper have always been a bit weird and the original rotor was warped pretty bad so i tried the srx rotor and its even worse maybe i will try the bender rotor.

They make alot of noise at high speeds and heavy braking, on the trails you don't notice it. I have 2 srx's and viper brakes have never worked the same.

Is your chain too tight?

check the woodriff key, mine had worn down quite a bit and it caused the rotor to wobble and clank like crazy... 6.95 for a replacement and shes tight as a 9 year old

Thanks John I will try that because that's what it sound's like a loud clank and my chain is not to tight
