Jackshaft & Driveshaft bearings

So can I get new chaincase bearings from someone other than the dealer, theyre just an NSK bearing, both the same. Also the seals too, just a KOSO seal.

There is a fellow on here that said he can get bearings for any application. It was under general yamaha discussions.cole_65 I think. Good luck.

In my -88 exciter they were just regular 6205 metric bearings..And you can find those from almost any store.

I think the phazer uses the same chaincase.

I just bought a kit from my local dealer and they order through Gamma sales and the kit has EVERYTHING in it, bearings ,oil seals, o-rings. and it was cheaper than going to a bearing dealer and ordering them individually. I bought all 4 bearings and clips/seals/orings for 80 something bucks.
