I have a 2001 srx 700.Just wondering if any one has had good luck with the delta v-force 3 reeds. And has played with dalton mutiangle helixes much on there sled.
Most people agree that stock reeds are the way to go. The gains with aftermarket are minimal. I have used a couple Dalton Helixes with good luck. I had a 51/43 that seemed to work good with Dalton DPY55.5 primary weights on my 98 SRX. Dalton makes quality stuff.

green secondary, I run a 48/36, dalton, v force 3s are junk the delta 2s are stronger and dont break as often I run delta 2s. Its just one more piece to the puzzle. But stock reeds are great and more reliable.

Does the 48/36 pull hard all the way through on hard pack.

it is better for mid and top end I run it with heel clickers I ran a 51/37 advantage and it pulls alot harder from a stop but seems to be slower on top. I have seen my best top end numbers with the 48/36 and hc but It needs a lot of wheight in the tip to keep the revs down.
Over all I have found that a 51/43rx1 helix with 8dn 20s and green secondary was the most consistant.

Thats what I run now and find its great for trail driving. I also have used the green with a Dalton 51/43 when using the Dalton DPY 55.5.
