I always run premium in my sled but was thinking about heading up to Rockland and sledding up there. I was told that the gas at the Konteka in White Pine is only going to be 87 octane. I want to go to Lake of the Clouds but will not make it there and back without stopping for gas. Would it be ok for me to run 1 tank of 87 octane through or is that too low? My sled is completely stock. Thanks!

It should be fine. You really only have to run premium gas if you have mods. Before i modded my 96xt i always ran the cheapest gas i could find with no problems!!.

Yamaha recomends a minimum of 88 octane,where one gets that i have no idea lol, you'll be fine a tank of 87,i run no lower then 89 in mine,srx and VM get prem. try to atleast run 89 when you can gas of today is some crappy stuff.
