I have a pair of VM roundslides and they came off a skidoo, but for the life of me I can't remember what one there were off of. I did a lot of carb/ motor swaps on the plus I had, so I don't know if these are 40's or 44's.
There are no markings on the carbs as to their size, and the best I can find is that they are 2" (50.8mm)OD in the side that goes toward the cylinder, and the OD of the air inlet is about 2.75", or 69.85 mm..
The chart I have says that those are 44mm VM's. Does this sound right?
I am going to put these up FS and I want to make sure I am listing them properly.
Thanks, Tom

Measure the I.D. of the hole that goes on the engine side..that is the size.

I get 1 and 5/8", or 1.635 which equals 41.275 mm. Does that mean they are overbored 40mm's???

Might be..good guess.
If they are drilled..sell them on ebay..get another set.

Well, they don't appear to be different than other stock ones. You can see casting marks.
These are spare carbs from a sled, ebay or CL was going to get them regardless.
All my sleds besides the old reliable indy trail have flat slides or EFI anyway.
I will list them as 40mm's and go from there. I don't think I had more than 1 set of 44mm VM's, and those went with my modded type 537 rotax motor.
