I saw an ad for a Yamaha PhazerII cover for cheap, and I was wondering if that would fit a Phazer. Phazers and PhazerII's look very similar, but I know the PhazerII has a wider ski stance, so I'm not sure if it will fit over the hood and cowling.

The Phazer II cover will work on the older Phazers, it will just be a "bit loose" on the front as the Phazer II is wider at the struts. So, the covers are different but if the $$ is good, I bet ya can figure out a way to "suck in the loose" cover!! I know I would..LOL

I did get a oem Phaxer ll cover for my Exciter sx, I could trade for a exciter II cover/sx cover for mine.
It is a very good condition, but it is a litle small, but usuable for my Exciter sx

If you have the original type windshield it will be too high for the cover. The Phazer II had a lower windshield.

I dont think the phazer ll had a lower windshield than the sx. But it is a litle to small over the handlebar and a litle too thight over the frone end.
