Is there anyone that have tryed this? Have a big crack in my exciter ll secondary. have found a guy here that have a newer secondary for sale(vmax600 96), but i do not know if it fit to my exciter.

this might work but you might only have about 3/4" of the splines grabbing...

Thanks for answer, so the offset will not change with a newer clutch, only the jackshaft that will be 1/4 to short.

95 and 96 are the only years that will fit your sled. the splining on the secondary is different than the 97 up sleds that will not interchange. dont recall all the details on the shaft/spline differences, but you will know when you try to put the wrong one on. ran this style on a 94 vmax with a high hp motor with no issues. gives alot more options for clutching, and a better all around setup.
yes, above post 100% correct. you can tell the newer secondary clutch by it having the splines almost 3" long. the older has maby 1.5" worth of splines. hope this helps...

Thanks for information, i think i will buy this secondary and try it on my exciter, maybe roller cam also will fit this..
