Heres the deal. I've got a 136" skid out of a mountain SRX and a 141 2" challenger track. I called tracks USA and they dont sell rail extensions for 136 to 141. I have asked before about relocating the skid and there was a problem with the front holes mounting where the steering hoops bracket goes. THe guy I bought the skid from had the 136 skid relocated on his SRX and was running the 141 track on it. I would like to either find someone that makes 136 to 141 extensions or reloacte the skid. I still need a tunnel extension but I need to figure this out ASAP!! BLIZZARD until 4pm tomorrow in W michigan!!!! ANYONE???? I have 8T drivers but need to figure out how the hell to get this to work???
This is just a thought, but could you get rails from a 141 skid and put them on your 136 skid? Even if you had to redrill some mounting holes on the 141 rails to match the 136 skid, shouldn't it be the same as putting extensions on?BBlueSRX said:
Then you would just mount the 136 skid in the standard position. Or maybe just get a used 141 skid, there must be lots of guys out there who have switched thiers out and have the old one kicking around.
