I'm not sure about the 270 kilometers but 150 is way to low, I can get around 140 miles per a tank depending on the type of riding im doing.

140 miles = 224 km should be a very good average. I used to ride about 200-230 km on a tank with my msrx.

Year 2003 trip, 1463km using 247L of gas=5.9km/L
Year 2004 trip, 1311km using 225L of gas=5.8km/L
45L gas tank X 5.85km/L = 263 km if you run her till she is dry.
I would describe the driving, moderatly aggressive, lots of fast trails. (Northern Ontario)

Vipers are awesome on fuel!
I can always get 250km on a tank of fuel on my viper. I always fill up before the gas light comes on. I mostly ride on flat wide groomed trails in canada. I have recieved 300kms on a tank of fuel, without runing it dry. So the dealer is pretty close.
